Volunteer Opportunities

The ReStore operates primarily on volunteer power.  Volunteer opportunities range from:

• Assisting at the sales counter
• Helping with customer service
• Organizing materials within the ReStore
• Driving/picking up donations
• Salvage projects

Right now, we really need more regular cashiers. This position is essential to our team, and to our customers.  Someone who is willing to be part of the team regularly would be a plus, so there is a comfort level with management.  A few hours a week making change could make a huge change for our team! Some of the regular duties of a cashier:

• Greet customers within 20 seconds of their entry to the store
• Ring customer transactions accurately (experience a plus)
• Answer phones
• Deal with any and all customer service, with a smile.
• Have a passion for the Habitat mission of eliminating poverty housing.

Help customers go green and save greenbacks!! Join us at the ReStore to help our customers get GREAT deals while raising money to build homes.

We need people to provide EXCELLENT customer service to our customers on Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Shifts are 4 hours long.

There will be training on appropriate customer service. People must feel comfortable dealing with the public in a professional way.
