SENH Habitat for Humanity ReStore is scheduled to open in October of 2008, but right now, we need your help! We are seeking the following donations to help us open the store:

  • Utility Cart
  • Office Supplies
  • Industrial Rag Mop Heads
  • Stickers, Labels, 5 sets of multi colored permanent markers
  • Brooms
  • Mops
  • Stickers, Labels
  • Step Ladder
  • Shop Vacuum
  • Paper Products
  • 24 stackable plastic bin units for small tools hardware, etc.
  • Several dozen pallets and any sturdy shelving
  • Rolling carts or bins

Local builders, contractors, businesses and individuals are encouraged to donate new or re-usable materials, as well as any inventory that is overstocked or discontinued to the Habitat ReStore. The ReStore can provide an alternative and cost-effective means for disposal of items that would normally be thrown away.

Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit entity and your donations are tax-deductible. You will be required to place the value on your donations.

  • Appliances - Must be clean and in 100% working order.  10 years old or less.  Washer, dryer, refrigerator, microwave, stove
  • Architectural items - Columns, antiques, mantles, etc.
  • Cabinets - Kitchen and bath.  Complete with doors, drawers, and no damage
  • Carpet and pad - New only
  • Counter tops - Good condition, minimal chips or damage
  • Doors - With jambs, no broken glass, good condition, free of bowing and twisting, holes and deep gouges, water damage and splintering.
  • Electrical - Usable fixtures, parts and supplies, no broken glass.  Ceiling fans must be in complete working order with all pieces intact.
  • Flooring - Wood, ceramic tile, vinyl
  • Hardware - Knobs, hinges, locks, nails, cabinet pulls, bolts, nuts, screws
  • Landscape materials - Patio and paving stone, brick
  • Lumber - At least 8’ in length.  If deconstructed, must be completely de-nailed, free of rot and water damage, free of excessive twisting and bowing.
  • Paint - Full, unopened paint or stain, latex only.
  • Plumbing - Usable fixtures, parts and supplies
  • Plywood sheathing - or full sheets in good condition
  • Roofing materials - Full bundles only.  Drip edge full lengths
  • Siding - Vinyl or aluminum, full boxes only
  • Tools - Hand, garden, working power
  • Windows - Insulated glass, no broken glass, no sashes

The following materials cannot be accepted:  lead based materials, aluminum sliding glass doors, used toilets, tub surrounds, toxic materials, blinds, wallpaper, furniture, fireplaces, draperies, fluorescent lights or bulbs, window parts or pieces, storm windows, small appliances, toys, shutters, clothing, computers, electronics, old appliances, trash.
