Gala Fundraising Event at
The Wentworth Resort & Spa
On Saturday, March 4, Southeast New Hampshire (SENH) Habitat for Humanity and American Home Mortgage (AHM) will host "A Night to Build Dreams," a gala fundraising event to be held at The Wentworth by the Sea in Newcastle, New Hampshire. While enjoying hors d'oeuvres, a wine tasting, and assorted entertainment, attendees will be able to bid in silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the auction items, ticket sales to the event, and the growing support of generous sponsors will help to fund SENH Habitat for Humanity's goal to build homes for two deserving families in Strafford County this year.
"We have set some ambitious goals for this year," said Cheryl Van Allen, SENH Habitat's executive director. "We are so fortunate to have the community responding with its good will. Sponsors and auction item donors are already stepping up to the plate. More are welcome, and their help promises to make 'A Night to Build Dreams' an exciting, fun-filled evening and a resounding success."
Wine Tasting and Auction…
An hour of free wine tasting provided by Pine State Beverage will await ticket holders when doors open at 6:30 p.m. Sarcasmo, a Latin Rock band, will perform, and the Portsmouth Ballroom will give a Latin dance demonstration and group lesson.

American Home Mortgage underwriting sponsor…
"It's a pleasure to host 'A Night to Build Dreams' at The Wentworth," said Sharon Foster, director of catering at The Wentworth. "We're thrilled to have this opportunity to work with such a highly deserving charity."
To help make "A Night to Build Dreams" a success, SENH Habitat is looking for 300 people to attend and for additional sponsors and auction items. The goal is to raise $25,000, an amount that will help close the gap in terms of funds needed to build two homes this year.
"It is with great pleasure that American Home Mortgage supports this endeavor," said Michelle Ricciuti, vice president and sales manager for AHM, the official $1,000 Underwriter for "A Night to Build Dreams."
"At AHM," Ricciuti added, "we believe in making the dream of home-ownership a reality for everyone. This is why we are so excited to underwrite 'A Night to Build Dreams,' a worthy event that we hope will go a long way to help SENH Habitat reach its goals this year."
"This is an opportunity for area businesses and community members to show support for a proven charitable cause," said Kaylee Masury, chairman of the Board of Directors for SENH Habitat. "Sponsors of all kinds are welcome, as are those who can donate items for auction. Habitat for Humanity is known for the high quality and commitment of its volunteer base, and our parent organization's dedication and professionalism are second to none. We hope the community supports the event by coming out in droves."
