First Horizon Home Loans Supports Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity
Perry Saunders from First Horizon Home loans recently presented a check in the amount of $5000.00 to Habitat for Humanity. This check will go directly toward breaking ground on the first of four homes to be built in Farmington, NH this spring.
The Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity Affiliate supports Portsmouth, Newington and Strafford County.
Habitat for Humanity is an international organization that brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable homes. In the last twelve years, the Southeast NH affiliate has completed twelve homes in Dover, Gonic, Northwood, Rochester, Somersworth and Farmington.
First Horizon Home Loans is a National Lender who has donated money for building homes throughout the country and here on the seacoast. First Horizon has committed to give $2 million dollars to Habitat Affiliates throughout a 5 year period. First Horizon's partnership with Habitat for Humanity began when President and CEO Jerry Baker contacted Habitat's Georgia headquarters in 2002.
