Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity
Serving Portsmouth, Newington and Strafford County
Habitat for Humanity International brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable homes for those who need it.
Since 1976, Habitat International has built more than 100,000 houses in more than 80 countries, including some 30,000 houses across the United States. In twelve years, the Southeast New Hampshire affiliate has completed twelve homes in Dover, Gonic, Northwood, Rochester, Somersworth and Farmington. Help us keep up this good work in your own community!

NOW OPEN in Dover, New Hampshire
ReUse, ReCycle, ReBuild, ReStore! In July 2008 the SENH board took an AMAZING step towards creating self-sustainability for our affiliate by approving the opening of a ReStore! And in October 2008, we realized that dream and became the FIRST ReStore in New Hampshire!! In a nutshell, Habitat ReStores are retail outlets where quality used and surplus building materials are sold at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from ReStores help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. We are very excited to announce this news. Please learn more about the forthcoming ReStore
