Hurricane Harvey

For anyone wondering if Habitat for Humanity is helping out with the disaster relief for Harvey, the answer is yes and here’s where you can find more information:

While Southeast New Hampshire Habitat will not be on the ground we “tithe” a percentage of our unrestricted donations to Habitat International with the understanding that the money will be used where most needed. Habitat International and Habitat Texas will be helping where ever possible.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone effected by this disaster.

Champagne Cruise winners

David and Nancy Borden of New Castle kindly donated a “Champagne Cruise” for eight to this year’s Garden Party auction.  The winners (lead by long time Habitat supporter, David Steady) arranged a mutually convenient time and went out on a Friday evening in early August.  A few of us Habitat folks (Marcie and Karen) were lucky enough to tag along.  We all had a wonderful evening.

Huge thanks to everyone involved!

Key Ceremony / House Blessing

Saturday, July 22 was a beautiful day in Middleton.  We joined together to bless and celebrate the Agramonte family moving in to their new house.  This is what it’s all about!

Thanks Optima Bank & Trust!

On Thursday, July 13, a group of volunteers from Optima Bank & Trust repainted a house in Hampton Falls.  We had to wait out the rain but it was worth it.  As always, they were a pleasure to work with.

Happy 4th of July!

From our Habitat for Humanity Family to yours, please have a safe and happy 4th of July!
