2009 Bike and Build Team Works at the ReStore
Each year, about 30 young adults dipped their bicycles in the Piscataqua River at Prescott Park. At the end of August, this same group will dip these same bikes into the ocean in Vancouver, B.C. From now until then, they will ride their bikes across the country, while helping to build homes and raise money for Habitat for Humanity, and raise awareness for the need for affordable housing. This amazing team is from a non-profit organization called Bike and Build, and they are prepared to give all they’ve got for two months to address the nation’s affordable housing crisis.
This year, the Bike and Build team helped out at our ReStore.

2008 – We Open our new ReStore!!
After months and months of planning, our new ReStore in Dover, NH FINALLY had it’s opening day. It was well attended by local politicians, our board members, and even our partner families. We are THRILLED to be able to raise more money to raise more roofs, as well as keeping TONS of reusable products out of the landfill and providing hard-working local families a place to buy reasonably priced home building and repair supplies.

Share in the joy as we confirm that the LeDoux family has been selected for our next home.
2008 Update: We have some WONDERFUL news to share!! After a long wait, House #2 at Joseph Halley Way is ready and waiting for the Ledoux family, who have finished all their paperwork and are ready to move in!! They were able to close on the home on 12/13/2008 and SENH was so thrilled to dedicate their home that afternoon at 12 noon. There was no heat, and no electricity, but there was SO much joy as the Ledoux put up a Christmas tree in their first home. Thank you to everyone who joined us to help them celebrate as they got their keys to their new home JUST in time for Christmas!!
2007 – The 2nd Annual “Night to Build Dreams”
Our second annual “Night To Build Dreams” was one heck of a Mardi Gras Party! It was a rousing success! Successful bidders left with magical room makeovers, trips to South Africa, jewelry, Red Sox tickets, balloon rides, vacations on lakes and in wineries, power tools, running shoes, days at the spa, and even an entire dinner for eight prepared by a professional chef at home.
